Jeopardy Review
Commissioner Fritz
Presentations
Jeopardy Review
Commissioner Fritz
Homework: Read the blog (for the last time)! Study for your final test! Next news brief: Katlyn.
---
News Brief: I had the news brief today and selected an article about this story to talk about: CNN.com - Authorities search farms, fields for signs of New York escaped killers. This is about how two convicted murderers escaped from prison in New York, about 20 miles from Canada. Even if they were found in Canada, they would still be sent back.
The next news brief was assigned to Katlyn, who kindly volunteered.
Presentations: We finished up our student presentations today in class on the State and Local final project. Thank you to everyone who presented and did great work!
Jeopardy Review: We did not have time to do this in class, because my mom was early and I did not want to keep her or Ms. Nelson's class waiting. If you want to study up, look at the questions for Jeopardy review for the final, here:
I think that should help! :-)
Thanks, everyone! See you during finals period!

Commissioner Fritz: The last part of class was taken by my mom coming to talk about her experience as a Portland City Commissioner. It was great to have her in to talk with us and Ms. Nelson's class, after we have talked so much about State and Local Government during the past few weeks! Thank you for your interest, focus, and questions! I'm glad that you got to meet my mom! I'm also glad you completed one of the four CRLE forms you need to graduate! :-)
Will the final be MC, written, or a combination of both?
ReplyDelete100 multiple choice, and then a short answer reflection after that.
DeleteSo, what exactly should I be studying, like, do I need to know all the amendments or some? Do I need to know all the branches and know how they function or some?
ReplyDeleteElijah,
DeleteDid you look at the Study Guide that I linked to in the homework section of this post? Or the actual paper that I gave you in class? That will help! So will looking at the Jeopardy review PowerPoint that I posted!
Thanks!
I did, but how much exactly do we need for all the stuff the study guide mentions or do we need to know all of it?
DeleteElijah,
DeleteThe final is cumulative, so you do need to prepare for all of what we have been over. That's a lot, I know! One last night of studying for a Government test!
Geeeh, alright, i got dis, can we work in groups?
DeleteHaha! No groups tomorrow. You are on your own. And you got this, for sure! :-)
DeleteOkay Luke, see ya 2morrow!
